Flex lines not pictured, they’re out in the garage and I forgot before taking this picture.
I’ve spent a majority of 6 out of the past 7 weeks on-site for work for various projects, but I’m home now. Tomorrow I’m working in the office for half a day, then the weekend begins - with the primary focus of the brake work the 4Runner has badly needed since I bought it at the beginning of September. I look forward to being able to drive it regularly.
Have I mentioned I tru
ly hate dealing with brake hydraulics? I did build myself a fancy jar to use so I can vacuum bleed them myself now, at least.

Mmm, fresh parts! You gonna paint the calipers?

They’re “rust prevention technology coated” which looks like they’ve just galvanized them, so I shouldn’t have to paint them. Same deal with the rotors which are coated inside and out, which is good with as salty as it gets here.
T
he old parts though, they’ve gone through 18 (19?) winters and I suspect much anger and struggle with removing most of the fasteners. Stuck/broken bolts are one thing, but when flare nuts seize to the line, I enter a white hot rage
. Sure making brake lines is easy,
but I don’t want to
